Another update. I’ve gotten really bad with this. It was a rough spring and summer this year. Busy at work, dealing with my dad’s estate and having a knee operation. Fall is here now and time for a quick update on things.
I’ve had this Crouse Hinds neon pedestrian signal for a long time. Over 4 years to be exact. Luckily there’s a neon sign wizard in town. The WALK was broken on this. He got it all fixed up and I’ll figure out how to display it eventually.
This monster of a Crouse Hinds 4 way signal. There’s 4 12″ Art Deco reds and the rest are 8″ Crouse Hinds Type M signals. There were actually a pair of these where they were in the Nottingham section of Syracuse, NY. Not too far away from their birthplace at the Crouse Hinds Factory in Syracuse. There’s some street signs in the background. Have found a few of the lately too.
I’ve gone pretty good with signs this year too. These are just a few that have been added to my collection. I really like the worded signs, especially since they are a lot harder to find.
This followed me home in October. I’ve had my eye on it since 2014. My buddy has had it even longer than that. I was able to acquire it in October 2024. It’s a 4 Way Crouse Hinds Art Deco signal. It’s in really great shape considering it’s so old. It’s also pretty much a twin to one i’ve had for quite a while too. That one took 3 of us to struggle and get it hung up in the basement. This one might have a floor stand lol.
My first doghouse also followed me home. It’s different from every signal i’ve got so far. It’s molded plastic so it’s really light for it’s size. My back says thank you!
Last one for now. I thought it was different since it’s got the 12″ arrow on bottom. something different, plus it’s not too heavy which means I can get it hung pretty easily eventually.
Thats all for now. I’m sure i’ll end up with more stuff soon., Thats just how it goes. Hopefully I( remember to update this site with all the new goodies I get!

So many goodies! I love the NYC – DEPT OF TRAFFIC signs. I have a DEAD END STREET, too. My biggest regret is selling an neon ped signal, so nice to see you getting ready now fixed up!
